The Cannonball MTB Festival
The Cannonball event held at Thredbo in December at Thredbo is becoming bigger than ever. Attracts some of the biggest names in the sport and amateurs with a huge prize pool. MTB enthusiasts are making the trip to Thredbo for an amazing weekend of riding and racing. The Cannonball downhill in Thredbo is a difficult trail that descends 600m vertically, the trail tests riders with rock drops & jumps. It is an award-winning event, 900 plus riders will descend on Thredbo for a five-day program packed with five mega gravity events.
Riders will have the chance to be crowned King or Queen of Cannonball.
Thredbo’s famous village will play host to DJ’s and live gigs with great food at the local restaurants.
